The Modoc Trail runs for 6 miles (one way) above Stevens Creek. The views of the creek and the deep forest are gorgeous, and the ridge-line hugging trail is always in excellent condition!
From the GA/SC border on Fury's Ferry Road (GA 28 West), go approximately 11.5 miles to Modoc. In Modoc, turn right onto SC 23 towards Edgefield across the railroad tracks. Go approximately 1.3 miles to Steven's Creek. Park in the parking lot on the left just before the bridge.
